Attending Tradeshows?

It has been through the Attending Tradeshows that I have been able to obtain the greatest amount of knowledge on Technologies being introduced to the marketplace. Generally these tradeshows are restricted to the Press and to those companies that sell within that specific industry and they were initially restricted to my attending them. My first attendance to a Tradeshow though occured in 1987, in Seattle and Bellevue, Washington openned to the public by the promotor of the tradeshow.

It was from these early beginnings that I was able to develop a working relationship with some of the sales leaders of some of the compaies attending here that further opportunities would open up for me to attend the more otherwise resticting; more national represented tradeshow. The Yashica Corporation and the AGFA Corporation would be the first to offer me one of their limitted "Badges" thereby giving me access to attend.

In these beginning phases of my research I was only trying to secure donated equipment with which to beging the tedius process of recording completely the observations from photographic experiments as photography had become a major interest of mine. As these experiments continued and as these observations were continuing to be recorded in notebooks, my skill level in photography begam to improve.
