The Data Contained Under the Web Page "Personal Research" is intended to be considered as Benchmarks from which you can calibrate your specific brand and make of camera.
I have included as part of this page's features a convenient set of forms for you to record your own research data, as well as a convenient way for transfering desired data from which could help guide you as you test out some of my own data.
To calibrate your camera to my data, select one type of photograph to be shot (for example: Head Shots). Using all data, shift only the F-Stop as you press the shutter release on your own camera; documenting all statistics used during this Calibration Process.
When your photos or slides are developed determine which frame provided you with the greatest degree of Color Satisfaction. Now, determine how far off the F-Stop was on your camera for this perfect shot from the F-Stop used in my research under that like category of photo. Determining this difference in F-Stops, will be the value you will want to remember whenever you continue to use this database. This will help ensure you the best level of Color Saturation when you shoot more roles of film.
Not all cameras will be able to be precise to my data, since some brands of cameras will not have mid F-Stop ranges, but you can still come close.
